The Prevost LeMirage XLII conversion bus shell blends Prevost's state-of-the-art proven technology with the design experience of the world's leading manufacturer of high-end conversion bus shells. The LeMirage XLII has its own personality, with unique styling and stand out features that begin with structural integrity derived from more than three decades of on-the-road experience.

The upper structure of the coach shell is specifically configured according to the number and position of side windows to provide optimal integrity and resistance to body flex. The under frame is a combination of rust protected, high-tensile, low alloy steel and stainless steel tubing. The flat or fluted outer shell sidings are stretched stainless steel, spot-welded at each end, and bonded at top and bottom to form a complete rivot-free seal. The structural one-piece front and upper rear caps provide optimal leak immunity.

The Prevost XLII slide-out option is an integral part of the shell and backed 100% by Prevost warranty and after-sales support. This vehicle is imperceptible when retracted and a totally natural extension when deployed. An air-craft type inflatable, twin-blade wiper seal creates an ultra-tight perimeter seal all around the slide-out partition. The Prevost slide-outs are fully equipped with computerized electronic control modules for fully automated operation. The all aluminum integral structure construction provides extra strength, adding less than 1,500 pounds to the total shell weight. Pneumatic pins reinforce the shell structure on the road.
